Resume Templates
In the "My Templates" section, click "Add Template" to open our Template Library. Here, you can browse the resume templates Teal offers and click on each one to see a preview of how it would look with your experiences.
Once you select your desired template, click "Save Template" to apply it to your resume.
Resume Styling
The "Styling" section allows you to adjust a variety of styling elements to your preferences.
Font
All of our fonts have been approved by recruiters and hiring managers. Try out different options until you find one that best reflects your style and the tone you want to set with your resume!
Line Height
"Line Height" is the vertical spacing between your paragraph lines. You can change this by either inputting a percentage value (range: 120% to 200%) or moving the lever left to right.
List Line Height
"List Line Height" refers to the vertical spacing between your list items, like your work experience bullet points. Adjustments here are made in the same way as line heights.
Accent Color
Choose from a variety of preset accent colors or add your own by clicking into the rainbow color wheel! For a custom color, you'll need to either input the associated color hex code or make a selection in the hue slider and color pane.
Date Format
Choose the date format that aligns with your preferences and the expectations of your audience (e.g., regional conventions).
Page Alignments & Layouts
Header Alignment: Position the header on the left, center, or right side of your resume.
Date Alignment: Place dates next to your experiences or to the right of the document.
Location Alignment: Align location details next to your experiences or to the right of the document.
Skills Layout: Present your skills in comma-separated lists or bulleted columns.
Page Setup
The "Page Setup" section allows you to pick your resume's paper size and page margins.
Paper Size
Standard Letter (8.5 x 11 inches): Ideal for resumes intended for US-based printing and standards.
A4 (210 x 297 millimeters): Suitable for international standard sizing and commonly used outside the US.
Page Margins
You can adjust your left, right, top, and bottom page margins by either inputting a decimal value (range: 0.25 to 2) or moving the lever left to right.
