For help setting up your first saved search and alert, see Using Teal's Job Search.
Accessing Your Saved Searches
To manage an existing saved search, head to Job Search and click the Saved Search dropdown in the top right corner.
You'll see a list of all your saved searches.
Updating Search Filters
If you need to adjust the filters for an existing saved search (for example, adding a new keyword or changing the location):
Select the saved search from the Saved Search dropdown to load it
Modify your filters as needed (add keywords, change workplace type, adjust salary range, etc.)
Click Update Search in the filter bar
This updates both the saved search and any associated alert—new job matches will reflect your updated criteria.
Managing Alert Settings
Click the bell icon next to any saved search to open the settings panel where you can manage all alert options.
Turning Alerts On or Off
If you want to keep a saved search but stop receiving notifications:
Click the bell icon next to the saved search
Toggle Send Alerts off
Your saved search will remain available, but you won't receive email notifications. You can turn alerts back on at any time using the same toggle.
Changing Alert Frequency
You can switch between instant and daily alerts at any time:
Click the bell icon next to the saved search you want to modify
Find the Email Frequency dropdown
Select either Instant (get notified as soon as new jobs match) or Daily (receive a summary once per day)
Your change takes effect immediately—no need to save.
Renaming a Saved Search
To give your saved search a more descriptive name:
Click the bell icon next to the saved search
Click Rename
Enter the new name and save
Pro tip! Use descriptive names that include key criteria (like "Product Manager - Remote - 75k+") so you can quickly identify each search.
Deleting a Saved Search
To permanently remove a saved search and its alert:
Click the bell icon next to the saved search
Click Delete
Confirm the deletion
This action cannot be undone. If you want to keep the search but stop notifications, consider turning off alerts instead.
