Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your career journey, our design mode offers features to help you create a visually appealing and professional resume effortlessly.

Finding Design Mode

First, open up a resume in the Resume Builder and navigate to Design Mode - indicated by a pencil icon on the top tab area of the page.

Using Design Mode

Follow along as we explore each aspect of the Design Mode, empowering you to showcase your qualifications in the best possible light. Let's get started!

Select a Resume Template

Under the Presentation Tab, you can browse various resume templates and select the one you'd like to use. By clicking on each, your resume preview will automatically change to support that chosen template - this allows you to see that style change in action!

Reorder Your Resume Sections

The second formatting option in Design Mode is reordering your resume sections under the Sections Tab. You can drag and drop your sections to appear as you please!

Format Your Dates, Location, and Experiences

The Settings Tab allows you to adjust your resume format settings, including: Showing Dates as, Show Locations by, Show Work Experience as, Education Date Settings, and Date Alignments.

Custom Design Options for Teal+ Members

The Advanced Tab is where the fun begins! You will be able to adjust the bullet points, text, line spacing, section titles, and more.
