Making Changes Across Resumes
Updated over a month ago

Looking to make changes that apply to all of the current resumes you have created? Check out the below resources on our Resume Syncing function!

Overview of Resume Syncing

How does Resume Syncing work?

Resume Syncing allows you to apply content changes that you make in one resume to all of the resumes you have saved within Teal.

When you edit existing information in your resume, you'll see the option to "Save to all resumes." If you check this box and click "Save," these changes will be applied to the other resumes within your Resume Builder automatically.

NOTE: Entirely new resume details (i.e., content that didn't exist in your Resume Builder prior to your current editing session) will be added to all resumes automatically.

What if I don't want to update across all resumes?

If you're not interested in applying a change in Resume A to Resume B, make sure the "Save to all resumes" option is unchecked before you save those updates.

When you open Resume B, you'll see an "Update Available" flag next to resume content that has been adjusted elsewhere in your Resume Builder. Clicking into that flag will display a comparison between the original and updated versions and the option to apply the update or leave it off this particular document.

Where should I go from here?

We recommend checking out this article next: Design Mode.
