The Job Tracker is a significant tool with lots of smaller tools built in. Below, we'll detail each including where to find them and how to use them.

Guidance

The Guidance in your Job Tracker will provide you with similar steps to your checklist, but more nuanced based on the stage of the job you're in!

The recommendations will change once you've moved the job through various stages, so keep an eye on it as you go along.

Notes

The Notes app will allow you to jot down thoughts as you work through the various job application stages. You should write down what you find interesting about the company, or how you felt after interviewing with their team. You can do this within Teal!

Each job you have bookmarked on the tracker has its own individual notepad, so you don’t need to worry about organizing your notes across several positions!

Resume Attachments

Looking to track which resume you're using for each job? You can use the Resumes tab to do so!

Connect a resume to the job so you can easily access it from the job and view your Match & Analysis scores in one place.

Contacts

Just like you can keep track of notes per position, you can also track contacts from your Contacts Tracker (or add them manually in this view)! This may be the hiring manager, colleagues you know who work at this company, or anyone else you want to include in your preparation for this position.

Email Templates

Lastly, our email template tool allows you to copy/paste or send emails directly to hiring managers, interviewers, or connections for a variety of reasons:

  • Saying thank you

  • Following up

  • Asking for a reference

  • Withdrawing from the interview process

  • Declining an offer

The email templates will reflect the stage the job is in! For example, when a job is bookmarked, you may see more templates related to networking versus when in the "Applied" stage.

Check List

Our checklist tool provides an overview of tasks you should look to complete within each stage of the job application process. These tasks are suggestions based on best practices when looking to receive more offers.
