Leveraging the Bullet Assistant
Updated over a week ago

With our Bullets AI tool, generation has become easier than ever. However, if you prefer to build a bullet yourself – perhaps, you're trying to determine the best action verbs/structure, which metrics to use, etc. – our Bullet Assistant is here to help!

Opening the Bullet Assistant

After you've opened the resume you'd like to edit, head to your Work Experience section and click "Add Bullet." If you would like to edit an existing bullet instead, you can do that by hovering over the bullet you'd like to edit and clicking on the pencil icon.

On the right side of the page, you'll see our Guidance menu appear. Navigate to "Assistant" to open our Bullet Assistant tool.

Using the Bullet Assistant

In the Bullet Assistant, you'll see several fields prompting you to either select an option from a dropdown menu or enter your own content. You'll see options for action verbs, metric statements, and more!

Filling out each field will help you build a bullet point framework that focuses on what you did, how/why you did it, and your impact. As you select each option and build out your bullet, you'll see the statement come together in "The Result" section of the tool.

Once you've created the foundation for your bullet point, click "Save" to add it to your Resume Builder in the work experience that you initially selected.

Editing Your Bullet

After you've created your bullet, you can then personalize it with your own metrics and additional details. Hover over the bullet and click on the pencil icon to edit it!
