Looking to start over or append your already-existing work history in Teal? Our Resume Builder allows you to import and re-import data from your LinkedIn Profile or an existing Resume (.doc or .pdf). Check out how below!

First, Head to your Resume Builder

Click the "Menu" button and select "Import Resume or LinkedIn" from the dropdown menu. You'll see two options to choose from: (1) Overwrite my Resumes and (2) Re-Import.

Re-Importing Your Resume

Re-importing (appending) your resume data allows you to add in any missing information that exists in your new resume, but doesn't already exist in Teal. You can re-import details from a new resume document, your LinkedIn profile, or a manual entry.

Adding new resume content via "Re-Import" can cause duplicates that you may need to manually delete, especially if you are importing from a source that contains details that already exist in Teal. For a cleaner re-import, you can upload an edited version of your new document that contains only the missing information in the relevant sections.

Overwriting Your Resumes

Overwriting your resumes will remove all existing resumes and resume data in your account. It's important to note that this is a total do-over, so be cautious when choosing this option if you're not looking to completely start over with a new resume!

After you confirm that you'd like to delete all your resumes, you'll then be prompted to upload new work history details either with a new resume document, your LinkedIn profile, or a manual entry.
