Creating a Professional Summary
Open the resume you'd like to edit and navigate to the "Professional Summaries" section in your Resume Builder.
To create a new professional summary, click "Add Professional Summary."
Guidance
As you create your professional summary, you'll see a "Guidance" section on the right-hand side of your page, which will provide recommendations on which career history details to include in your summary.
These are also the suggestions that our AI tool is going to take into consideration when generating your professional summary.
Generating a Professional Summary with AI
If you need more help creating a professional summary, you can use our AI tool to create one for you.
The tool will take into account the resume data you've imported into your Resume Builder, as well as any matched job description, to write a professional summary that covers those key components listed in our Guidance section.
After your summary has been generated, you can review it and make any necessary adjustments to best fit your experiences. Once you're happy with your summary, click "Save," and it'll be added to your resume.
NOTE: While our Professional Summary AI may be a helpful tool for getting started, it still requires you, the real person, to review the generated content and make edits as needed until you feel confident about the final draft.
