We do not have a general free trial. Within the free version of Teal, you can try Teal+ features such as 30 credits for AI generation on achievements, 1 cover letter generation, and 2 professional summary generations. This allows you to test some features without needing to provide credit card information. You can learn more about the free and paid version here.

We have learned that our global users have expanded and need additional languages! We do not have the capability to change language features just yet, but we hope to have this soon.

By default, dates in your resume are displayed by total company tenure. To change how your dates are displayed, you'll need to go to Design > Settings in your Resume Builder. You can find more guidance on this HERE.

At this time, Teal does not offer a dedicated "References" section, as references are typically requested after the initial resume review. For now, you can add your reference's information within the "Company Description" field in your Work Experience section.

Currently, our templates are designed to meet US and Canadian resume standards, which typically do not include photos to avoid potential hiring bias. We understand the importance of this feature for users in other regions and are considering adding it in future updates.

While we don't write/re-write resumes, our goal is to empower you with the tools and guidance needed to showcase your skills and experience effectively. You can leverage our AI Bullets, AI Professional Summary, and AI Cover Letter tools to guide you on crafting the perfect resume for you.

Teal is a resume building platform that exclusively uses our own templates, which can be edited. When you import your resume into Teal, the technology attempts to read and write your details in the same format and organized manner that you have originally provided and applies it to the Teal template you have selected.

All of Teal's resume templates adhere to ATS-friendly guidelines (i.e., simple layouts without excessive columns/graphics/tables, minimal design elements, standard headings for sections, and text-based export formats like .pdf) and allows for customization within our Resume Builder while maintaining a professional appearance.

Keywords in your resume are not automatically replaced. However, our AI-powered tools can suggest relevant keywords based on the job description you’re targeting. To get started, head here to learn about our Job Matching tool.

Currently, Teal only offers exporting as PDF. However, we'd like to expand Teal with the function to export to .doc/.docx or Google files in the future
