As you navigate the free version of Teal, you may be looking for a "Free Trial" of our Teal+ subscription.
While we don't offer a standard free trial that requires payment information such as your credit card, we do offer a trial of Teal+ within the free version of Teal itself!
Important Note: We will never ask for your credit card for a free trial. Once you enter your credit card information, you are signing up for a subscription (recurring or non-recurring).
We strongly believe in keeping our basic functionality in Teal free forever! This means, unlimited resumes to edit and export, unlimited jobs in your job tracker to track, using the company & contacts tracker for networking, and more.
Teal+ expands on these features & tools by providing unlimited AI generation support, more advanced suggestions in Analysis Mode, and more keywords surfaced in Matching Mode.

AI Generation Credits
While Teal+ offers unlimited AI generation, the free version of Teal includes a select number of AI Generation credits to use on generating Achievements, Professional Summaries, or Cover Letters. This setup enables you to test these features and decide if you'd like to upgrade to unlimited usage.
Achievement Generation
As a free user, you have 10 credits to use for AI Achievement Generation. You can view how many credits you have remaining with the counter in the top-right corner of the edit box.
Professional Summary Generation
As a free user, you have 2 credits to use for Professional Summary Generation. You can view how many credits you have remaining with the counter in the top-right corner of the edit box.
Cover Letter Generation
As a free user, you have 2 credits to use for Cover Letter Generation. You can view how many credits you have remaining with the counter in the top-right corner of the edit box.
Matching Mode
As a free user in Matching Mode, you will see the top five high priority keywords surfaced from the Job Description. (More on Matching Mode and its function can be found HERE).
Some job descriptions may have less than five high priority keywords identified. Depending on how it's written, we will surface those that exist.
Upgrading to Teal+ provides you with the full list of high priority keywords and low priority keywords.
Analysis Mode
As a free user, you have access to Basic Issues in Analysis Mode. Depending on the complexity of your resume, you may find that no basic issues need addressing 🥳
Upgrading to Teal+ provides you with a full view of basic and advanced issues in Analysis Mode.

If you choose to stick with the free version, you will always see Basic Issues in Analysis Mode and the top five high priority keywords in Matching Mode, and you will have the opportunity to use your credits for AI generation (these credits do not renew for free users).
Additionally, you still have access to creating unlimited resumes, bookmarking unlimited jobs, leveraging the editing tools, Company Tracker, Contact Tracker, and more!
